Our Approach to Corrections
MJ Studio65 AutoTech Journal aims to publish accurate and responsibly researched automotive and technology information.
Despite careful research and editing, errors can occasionally occur. When a significant factual error is identified, we aim to correct it as quickly and clearly as practical.
What We Correct
Corrections may be made when published information is found to be inaccurate, including:
- Vehicle specifications
- Battery capacities or charging figures
- Prices
- Technical descriptions
- Dates
- Safety ratings
- Manufacturer announcements
- Market availability
- Incorrect attribution
Updates Versus Corrections
Automotive information frequently changes after publication.
If an article was accurate when originally published but later becomes outdated because of a new announcement, specification change, pricing update, software update or regulatory change, we may update the article without treating the original reporting as an error.
A correction applies when information was materially inaccurate at the time it was published.
Minor Edits
Minor spelling, grammar, formatting, punctuation or readability improvements may be made without a formal correction notice when they do not change the meaning of the article.
Significant Corrections
When a correction materially changes the meaning of an article, MJ Studio65 may include an update or correction note explaining what was changed.
Sources and Verification
When a correction involves technical information, we aim to verify the revised information using authoritative sources such as manufacturers, regulatory bodies, safety organizations, government agencies or original research publications.
